After 20 years as a Warner Robins, Georgia Wedding DJ, I still love every minute watching families celebrate together.

At my own wedding, our DJ did not have my preferred wedding song. Our first dance was to the "runner-up" song and I still get mad every time it comes on the radio!

As a woman, I understand the stress brides are under and how important those little details really are. I make it a point to pay attention to the little things.

I have a background in education, there aren't many rooms I can't take command of! I know how to read the room and take control when needed. Cooperating with your other wedding professionals to throw the best party possible is always my goal.

How long have you been a wedding DJ?

I have been a DJ since 1999 when my child was in the belly. I started Djing at the base club in Montgomery, Alabama. I was a military brat and wife so I have lived and traveled all over the world. I believe that is one thing that makes me so versatile and sets me apart from the others.

How do you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?

If I see that no one is dancing I will usually put on a line dance like Wobble or Cha Cha Slide and encourage people to dance with me on the dance floor. I have no problem leading some of the most popular dances.

Do you act as the emcee and make all the announcements?

I will definitely emcee and make any needed announcements. My mom was a teacher, and I am a teacher, so I have no problem taking control of the room when needed. My son and I will make sure the announcements are crystal clear!
